Software version 3.0 includes these new features

  • MPI_Wtime() reports time values that are globally synchronized. For details, see the SiCortex® Programming Guide.
  • MPI one-sided operations now supported.
  • The GotoBLAS, PETSc, ScaLAPACK and SPRNG libraries are now included in the software. The GotoBLAS library provides linkage for both Fortran and C, but only n64 binaries are currently provided for GotoBLAS.
  • The hdf5 library is now included in the software.
  • New SiCortex string libraries contain tuned versions of the libc functions strcpy, memset, and memcpy. The tuned versions provide a significant increase in performance over their libc counterparts.
  • The network packet analyzer, Wireshark, is now included in the software.gnuplot now included in the software.
  • The sshfs command, which enables users to mount and operate on remote directory trees as if they are local, is now included in the software.
