Software version 2.2 includes these new features:
* Hardware and software bootuup messages are logged in /var/log/*
* Fortran programs can use the SiCortex-optimized math library, libscm.
* TotalView is included in the software.

The software included these new features:
* All messages related to the hardware components that implement the Interconnect Fabric are logged in /var/log/<partition>/mfd.log
* At SSP boot up, the version of the software booted is logged in /var/log/messages-<yyyymmdd> and in /var/log/scboot.log.

* The sicortex-system.conf file replaces the /var/state/ route_info.<partition> file
* 32-bit arguments to syscalls are zero-extended to 64-bit registers
* scpower utility can check the power state of and power on/off the nodes on a processor module
* You can boot an individual node that has crashed.
